I apply in Jakarta and my passport is issued in Lithuanian embassy in Helsinki. And it says in Lithuanian “Ambasada Helsinkyje” that’s what I put in application. Same I was doing when apply in Finland for tourist visas.
That’s why you use Wise and your cards from your home country bank 🏦 🙂 instead of pay someone to get local QR code with shady account to make payments at
I’ve applied for the 60-day TR e-visa in Helsinki many times, most recently in November 2024, even though I could have used the visa exemption stamp. The embassy in Helsinki always asked for a 3-month bank statement, but I can’t remember the minimum required balance. So I think it depends some embassies may didn’t ask for financial proof, while others always did and do.
In EU you can’t apply from the country if you not resident. You can apply but it will be rejected and fee lost. It written clearly on all embassies websites.
If you put unemployed chances are that your application will be denied. I apply in Jakarta and was invited to interview and had to show income beside that I had 6 months statements with much larger amount of money than need for visa. Put Self employed and if they invite for interview you will show and explain your deposits.
Electricity you can pay through Lazada with your card. The rest you can pay with Wise like rent, water bill etc. For the rest cash is king to pay for street vendors and all shops accept cards. Bigger shops even accept Amex cards no problem 🙂 So all this thing running around to open bank account is complete waste of energy, and to pay agents to open account is the most dumb thing 🙂
I don’t think you need DTV for that, I verified same account just with passport and no one didn’t ask me for DTV, about half year ago. The only think deposit limit in 7/Eleven.
Cash 💵 is king 🤴 🙂
And for the rest Wise work pretty well 🙂 when I hear people pay agents to get bank account it just ridiculous 😂
