What are my options for obtaining a DTV visa for myself and my girlfriend in Vietnam without using my embassy?

Hi!

Need a visa agent to support me and my VN gf with DTV visas. I'm Lithuanian. Have the needed money on account, just don't want to do it through my embassy in person, as it's in Denmark. I'm in VN now, would be best to solve all here or online. Any options?

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Lithuanian citizen is seeking assistance in obtaining DTV visas for himself and his Vietnamese girlfriend while in Vietnam, expressing a preference to avoid going through the Danish embassy in person. Multiple comments suggest that applying directly for the DTV visa in Vietnam may be feasible without an agent, with some emphasizing the potential cost savings. Recommendations include utilizing online resources for application guidance, and a reminder that each applicant must secure their own DTV visa. The conversation also highlights concerns over high fees charged by visa agents and the importance of ensuring quality service if choosing to hire one.

If you are in Vietnam you apply through whichever Vietnam consulate serves the area where you are currently located. You each need to apply for your own DTV visas

I can take my gf with me if I have DTV?

Anonymous participant 229 Not as a dependent on your DTV. Spouses and dependent children only. She would need her own DTV.

It's only 10k baht to do yourself. I've just flown across se Asia to do it after being quoted 75k baht by my visa agent for what is in reality a 10k baht visa. Agents really shouldn't be so greedy with a visa that's as all over the place and unstable as the dtv. I can understand paying that much for education visas as it includes a course and your almost guaranteed to get it most the time but this DTV visa is very different.

Imagine paying 75k then getting rejected. You'd be so annoyed lol

Crazy money. If an agent gives advice and quality assured your application before submission I think a 10-12k THB is fair. I woukd also expect they off a full refund if rejected as long as you were fully honest with them

Penang is a good option tho, everything is done online but need to be there as definitely they will request you to send a picture of the stamp in your passport

Do it yourself. Ask any questions here. If you really want an agent choose one that offers money back guarantee and then only for document checking before submission. Good luck
