I will apply for muay thai DTV

In the agency I contacted, they say all their students pay 1 year training and don't need to pay following years, they can come back to Thailand without extending the muay thai training

Has anyone experienced this with muay thai dtv? just paying one course for one year and having dtv visa for 5 years?

Thanks

Hello!

I applied for a DTV VISA but I got a TR VISA for 6 months. I don't know why?

Is there someone like me?

And do I need to leave after 2 months or can extend in Thailand ?

Applying for DTV but the Muay Thai gym are saying they need 30 days to process my application!? And not to book a flight for 40 days "just in case"! Anyone else had this?

Seems an extremely long time to wait for a piece of paper to say that I've signed up for a Muay Thai course?

I'm looking for advice for my daughter. She has been living in Phuket training on a swim scholarship since April, 2023. She needed to go home to get her passport renewed and is on her way back. Before she left Thailand, the training center told her she needed get a DTV to return. She flew to Laos and had the training center invitation letter and letter of support; however, she was denied as they said the letter of support was not enough and she had to have the 500,000 baht in her account. The training center continues to argue with us that they do not have to have the 500,000 baht. But we've had the same issues with Beijing embassy and Los Angeles (via email enquiries). We do not want to keep paying to fly her to different embassies and getting her DTV denied. She is currently coming back to Phuket on visa exempt (US passport) and then will try to find the best option for a longer term visa once she gets here. So my questions are:

1. Is the DTV the best visa for her to be on for training or is there a better option?

2. Is a letter of support from the training center enough?

3. If DTV is the best option, which country should I fly her to for that?

Thank you for any advice or recommendations you can give?

For those with success visas via Muay Thai gyms - did your gym provide a certificate of from the Ministry of Education and Board of Boxing along with your application to the Thai consulate that you are applying to? What documents other than the “letter of acceptance” to the gym was provided ?

Hi guys I am hoping to get some help/advice.

My boyfriend wants to do a Muay Thai Visa in Pattaya or Phuket.

He is in Australia now and wants to come here as soon as possible.

The immigration in Australia offers student visas so he would like to choose Muay Thai as his course.

We can’t find anything about a list of Muay Thai gyms that offer the training through an education visa.

We don’t want to pay for the agency as it is costly and it is only a few hundred dollars for him to do it from Australia.

Does anyone know this process or have any experience doing the Muay Thai Visa?

Thanks for your help in advance. Please comment or inbox me 😊
