1: Im currently on an ED Visa, which runs out end of Juli. Does that influence. my application procedure?
2: My bank account does not have the required 500K baht for 3 months (only 2) does this matter?
3: I read this on a thai embassy website: **All supporting materials that are issued outside of Thailand and the US must be accompanied by certified English translations and notarized by an Embassy/Consulate or Ministry of Foreign Affairs only*
Apparently as of May 1st Thai embassies in the US are requiring 3 months proof of access to 500,000 Bhat in liquid cash and they don’t recognize stocks or investments as liquid cash despite having instant access to them.
Has anyone encountered this yet?
I have the cash in the bank but moved it from my investments just over a month ago…
For those who got their DTV in Asian countries and are from non-english speaking countries, did you have to translate your bank statement into English? I'm from France so my bank statement is in french.
Question: I am a US citizen presently in Thailand. I am a digital nomad. Can I go to Malaysia and apply for the DTV from there? Or do I have to fly all the way back to the USA?
I try to apply for a Non Immigrant O retirement visa at the Thai embassy in The Hague . 67 Year young and Dutch.
I read many times that for the Non Immigrant O retirement visa an health insurance was not required. It should be required for the OA version when I am corerect.
I am fully covered for medical issues by my Dutch health Insurance and an extra travel insurance.
Both insurances sent me an English coverage paper, but the specific amounts (as required by the embassy) they can't be/are not mentioned on it.
The Thai embassy requires a health care insurance now for the Non Immigrant O retirement visa and want me to take a 3th insurance.
