Hello, I have some questions about 60 day tourist visa . Me and my wife will apply for e-visa in Finland and it looks like all process should be completed online. Before our visa expires we will apply for 30 days extension but after that I understand we have to leave the country. My question would be while we still in Thailand can we apply for another 60 days e-visa online ? So when we fly out to any near country we can come back with another 60 days visa. My wife is Tanzanian citizen but Finnish resident so when I check online it show apply for visa available.

And another question if we get e-visa approved in case if land borders open can we use it for visa run or it's should be used only at airports ? Tanzanian citizens are mostly visa free to travel to countries around Thailand or should apply for evisa.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster inquires about the possibility of applying for another 60-day e-visa online while still in Thailand, after initially obtaining a 60-day tourist visa and subsequently applying for a 30-day extension. They also seek clarification on whether an approved e-visa can be used for a visa run via land borders or is restricted to airports. Various comments suggest ambiguity in applying for an e-visa while in Thailand, noting potential challenges and recent border restrictions.

It should be possible but not sure which country's RTE you'd apply to. If you just fly out, get stamped in to Cambodia then fly back you'd get 30 days anyway. Hopefully, by then, the borders will be open so no need to fly and the Thailand Pass is history.

The eVisa system is new, and I received no reports of anyone successfully applying for an eVisa inside Thailand, bouncing out, and then returning on the eVisa. The other countries surrounding Thailand are still closed (except for Cambodia, by air). My *feeling* is that the answer would be no though.

Why make you life so difficult with if and if and if.

Apply for the correct visa which fits the purpose and length of your stay. Land borders are closed at the moment.
