@Steve ******
.correct.. but he's not getting a spouse extension on 3 months of 40k salary. Needs to be 400k 2 months prior balance or 12 months salary of 40k.

Take my advice.. walk away... if it smells like shit, looks like shit, feels like shit, it's probably shit.

Doesnt matter what country you are in.

Sounds like a 2nd passport rather than a replacement passport

@Phil *******
. They cut off the data strip on the main page. So it's beyond me how he left on the cancelled and destroyed old passport..

@Richard ********
. I'm well aware of that... I'm just showing an example of how pedantic some airlines can be regarding return or onward ticket. I've flown to Thailand at least a dozen times on visa exempt before I had an o visa .. wasn't asked for return because they already knew.. because I bought it from them and it was in their checkin data base. You're missing the point. They have the right to refuse, be prepared. And "you had a visa" doesn't cut it because tourists visa holders also require return or onward if asked for it.

Agreed again. But I would say be prepared to buy a ticket home or somewhere onward instantly at checkin counter or passport control in TL, on the off chance they do demand one, which they have the right to do.

Agreed. I once had an issue returning to Thailand on a non O spouse visa. Checkin said I didn't have a return ticket..Even after explaining I LIVE IN THAILAND, and are returning there, they still called immigration police to checkin, who confirmed I was correct and didn't need one...
