. I'm well aware of that... I'm just showing an example of how pedantic some airlines can be regarding return or onward ticket. I've flown to Thailand at least a dozen times on visa exempt before I had an o visa .. wasn't asked for return because they already knew.. because I bought it from them and it was in their checkin data base. You're missing the point. They have the right to refuse, be prepared. And "you had a visa" doesn't cut it because tourists visa holders also require return or onward if asked for it.
Agreed again. But I would say be prepared to buy a ticket home or somewhere onward instantly at checkin counter or passport control in TL, on the off chance they do demand one, which they have the right to do.
Agreed. I once had an issue returning to Thailand on a non O spouse visa. Checkin said I didn't have a return ticket..Even after explaining I LIVE IN THAILAND, and are returning there, they still called immigration police to checkin, who confirmed I was correct and didn't need one...
