All applications in the UK will eventually need to be completed via the London Thai Embassy Evisa application system. Licenced agents in the UK can already do the application for you. The cost is around about x2 than doing it yourself. You still require the same documents.
you cannot apply for an O-A visa at a UK consulate. But, in fairness, the London Thai Embassy does give a warning, that in the event of an O-A VISA or any visa being declined they CAN just substitute the application by issuing a tourist visa.
The same Evisa platform used by China, UK, and France will be implemented on the 1st March once agents for Taiwanese tour companys are trained in obtaining visas for their clients.
After 1st March, only those with Taiwanese residency will be able to apply to obtain visas there.
No holidays next week but you need to watch these consulates for a closure on Monday February 10th. They have slipped a late substitution day in for makha bucha day which falls on Saturday 8th and made the Monday a public holiday.
Some of there holiday calendars haven't yet been updated as they went to press early.
And before you get really upset, don't even think about using the income method in Phuket. They won't allow it unless your one of the fortunate ones who's embassy will issue an income letter. The UK, US and Australian embassy no longer issue them.
becareful if your planning on working. They already issued a warning of their intentions. I wouldn't be going anywhere near one of those co-working spaces
