I'll have a place I'm staying in Yangon, and can probably arrange details if need be. Just wondering if that's what was asked. I can understand the need for one in Thailand, but not so much a country I'm spending less than a week.

Figured that was the case... Would prefer to book for 90 days as I've actually got travel planned for then. Plus, my 60 days will be up just after New Years so not keen on paying the excessive holiday surcharges on top of changing my flights!

Organised my Non B last year in Penang. No problems whatsoever. Provided you have all your required documents you should be fine anywhere.

Ok thanks.... It doesn't appear to have an "enter before" date. It has "valid from" - Nov 16 2017 and "valid until" - Nov 15th 2018.

When I do my border bounce in August the stamp I receive will say admitted until early Nov, depending on what day I go.

So just to clarify, regardless of my work permit and current role finishing, I will be able to stay until early Nov?

I have a similar situation coming up. My work permit runs until September and I will be leaving my current role when that time comes. However my non b is valid until November.

Do I have to leave in September or can I stay until November?

I have been doing a border bounce every 90 days so far (first year having a non b).

Thanks

Alternatively, you can go over to the Andaman Club. It's 900 baht return speedboat, visa fees and processing included (so you don't need to worry about having a mint condition US note).

Plus it's got a nice pool, cheap Myanmar lager and a duty free shop. And a mini casino if you're that way inclined!

Oh and they didn't ask to see cash or anything like that. Just my work permit.

To those interested, I ended up getting a mini bus from the bus station to Sadao for 60 baht. Took around 90 minutes. At the border I got a motorbike taxi to take me to Malaysia and back for 100 baht. Took about 20 minutes all up. Currently waiting for my mini bus to fill up and head back to Hat Yai. The return trip is 100 baht.

So 260 baht and roughly 3 hours all up. Not too bad!
