Flew from Jakarta to DMK yesterday, the easiest process I have had. Que up, for 2 minutes, hand over DTV and TDAC form. Stamp till 13th june. And on my way.
While process including collecting luggae 15 minutes
I've been in Thailand since February this year (did the 6 month extension). My previous history before getting the DTV had me stopped and questioned every single entry for a couple of years.
Just left for a week to go to Hong Kong and back. They barely even looked at me at immigration when I came back, just stamped me in and waved me on.
Arrived in Bangkok on November 29 for my second entry under the DTV Digital Nomad visa. I came in from Madrid after spending 90 days traveling through Europe and Latin America.
Entry was completely smooth—about 1 minute at immigration, no questions at all. Got the full 6-month stamp again. Sharing the update in case it helps others.
Has anyone worked with a legitimate lawyer for a DTV visa? Only looking for actual experience and recommendations, not people advertising themselves to me. I'm going to have a combination of some remote income, student loans for my masters program (fully online) and maybe 8-10k in my bank account. I just dont see me getting the minimum balance in for 3 months with my timeline. My kids dad is moving there for work and we want to make sure the kids start at the beginning of the school year. I could marry him for a non O but honestly I really dont want to 😭
Hello everyone, on November 21st yesterday, I received my DTV visa in Vientiane, Laos. It only took me 5 working days from application to approval, which is amazing speed. On the same day, I successfully entered Thailand through Friendship Bridge with my DTV visa. Refusal of entry is only for frequent Border runners .not for DTV holders. I hope this information is helpful to everyone
4/5 Weeks for DTV application from London embassy?!
Hi guys, after waiting ages, I managed to get through to the Thai embassy in London via phone call.
After asking a few questions about the Visa, I finished by asking how long processing would take expecting her to say a few days or a week or two tops.
But instead, she said it would be about 4-5 weeks! I wasn’t expecting that. I told her I’ve heard of people getting it within a few days online. But her answer didn’t change.
