You can only get the Single Entry Non Immigrant B, which will give you 90 days of stay. Take a look at the website of the Thai Consulate or Embassy you like to visit for the requirements.

Organised my Non B last year in Penang. No problems whatsoever. Provided you have all your required documents you should be fine anywhere.
