Just to inform Kasikorn Bank account holders. The bank has now moved out of Chaengwattana. The branch is gone and I don't believe there's an ATM. I was told the branch is in a nearby mall, but don't quote me. I needn't explain why that's an inconvenience

Hi there,

We are an Australian passport & Netherlands passport (but Aussie resident) holder wanting to come to Thailand to a fitness camp for 2 months and then explore so the 90 day visa would be ideal.

Currently exploring Europe & flying from Switzerland (but do not reside here) to Bangkok.

Is it correct that when we fly in to Bangkok next week we will be issued a 30 day tourist visa on the spot? Can we ask for a 60 day at the airport or do we have to go to the consulate in Bangkok to apply for the 60 or 90 day visa?

Also, we don’t have a booked a ticket out of Thailand. We actually wanted to travel into Cambodia via motorbike or bus. Do we need to book something now or just wing it at the airport? Could we book something online at customs if we get asked for it??

And the money on arrival. I’ve read various posts that not many people have ever been asked for it, but is there an ATM somewhere between disembarking the plane to customs?

Thanks for any assistance!! What a headache! 🤕

Sorry for another post. Does anyone know the address of the temporary visa office at muang thong thani? It's not coming up on maps or grab. Also, do they have an ATM there?

Maybe a very stupid question, but I have to clarify in other to not get in trouble... Is there ATM available to deposit cash after passing the immigration counter? I may or may not pay a fine and don't want to bring cash to my country.

My newphew is visiting me in Bangkok from South Africa with a 30-day visa exempt for 10 days. He's never been to Thailand. He will be obtaining cash here with his ATM cards. In case he gets asked to show cash at immigration, are there any ATM machines on the port side before immigration? Suvarnibhumi. Thanks!

Hi all,

A couple of quick questions for 60 day SE tourist visas, it's been a while since my last so apologies if obvious!

Firstly, providing details of outbound flight, does this need to be within the 60 days? Or can it be within 90? Given I intend on extending for 30 days.

Secondly, can anyone clarify what these two lines highlighted on the form mean specifically?

And lastly, is there an ATM anywhere in DMK before coming through immigration?

For reference, I'm Australian and will be visiting the embassy in Yangon.

Thanks guys!

Hey guys! One technical question: is there an ATM in the BKK airport (Bangkok) before you reach the immigration officers? Thing is, need a lot of money to show them, including local currency to pay for the visa on arrival. I know there is a currency exchange there, but an ATM would be so much better. Thanks

What is the Visa on Arrival Fees as of 25th Sept 2017? And are there any ATMs before VOA counters to withdraw Thai Baht at Suvarnabhumi Airport?
