Use an agent. Try Siam Legal in Bangkok. If it’s important to you then spend the small amount of extra money needed to make sure no mistakes.

I used Siam Legal in Bangkok for myself + wife + kids, successful application. They will have multiple success stories with Australians + will know of any rules slightly different to other countries, so they can guide you well.

Pay the small fee an agent charges - for peace of mind and for their accurate understanding of the current rules and any changes.

Anonymous participant 493 Better to use an agent who has experience in multiple successful applications.

Main applicant applies who can show remote working job with all the requirements etc, THB 500k needed on most recent bank statement.

Then add dependants after main applicant is successful, and THB 500k needed per person, so THB 2M in total.

Can show it on most recent bank statement, and then withdraw/move after all applications are successful.

The agent fee isn’t a lot for what you are getting - 5 year multiple entry visas for Thailand with 180 days max stay per entry.

Don’t be a cheap Charlie like a lot in this group, especially when kids are involved. It’s worth using an agent for peace of mind and so that mistakes aren’t made which could lead to a rejection…

Ignore departure date if not confirmed/fixed - scroll up a bit and the most important part to complete is the arrival date just above that part, maybe you mean 19th Jan for your arrival date? You can leave departure date blank…

I have DTV as primary applicant, I then added my wife and our 2 daughters once mine was approved.

Our daughters go to international school here, and there was no need for education visas, the DTV visas were fine.

We were also able to apply to the school for placements and confirm all of that before the visas were confirmed, we then just sent copies of the DTV visas to the school once they were completed…

We recently got (in August) 2 pre-paid AIS SIM cards from Terminal 21 for myself and my wife - with 100GB data per month = THB 3,500 for 12 months - which was the best deal I found, so it works out as THB 290 per month..

You need to take copies of your passport(s) with you to the AIS shop…

Arrived on 31st July moving here one way from the UK, gave them the paper DTVs as had printed them for first time entry, but next time will try just showing on phone when I go on a biz trip in Sept (but will have paper one with me in case they ask…)

They never asked to see TDACs though. We were family of 4 = 2 adults and 2 kids.
