TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around the proof of funds required for a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) application for a family with two adults and two children applying from London. Key points highlight that each adult typically needs to show at least 500,000 baht in their account, with variations based on personal circumstances and advice from others who have gone through the process. It’s often necessary for each adult to demonstrate their financial capability separately, while children don't require additional funds. There is a recommendation to use an agent for assistance in navigating the visa application process.
My husband, main visa holder had to show the funds for himself.
I, as adult dependant also needed to show funds, ( i literally transfered from my joint account to one that was in my name only, no need for 3 months or anything like that)
I'd be surprised if the allowed a sponsorship letter for all 3 dependants, most likely they will want each of the adults to have their own 500k baht but will allow sponsorship letters for the kids. But you really need to check directly with the consulate
I did it in Frankfurt. My wife needed the same amount as me in her bank account, even as dependent. We re-submitted my funds as well just as an additional piece of information. There were no additional funds needed for my children, age 8 and 13. good luck!
Each applies for their own visa and if you look at the website, you must have minimum 500.000 thb into a bank account for 3 months to apply for 1 (ONE) visa.
If you like to apply for 4 different visa, it becomes 4 x 500.000 is 2.000.000 Thb or equivalent currency.
Yep, others will say, apply for 1 visa at the time and use the same 500.000 Thb over and over again, nobody check, but they do not guarentee this claim, so be carefull.
I obtained my DTV from the UK with 500k in my bank for one month, as many others have also posted. So my information for the UK is correct, whereas your information is generic and inaccurate for an applicant for the UK. People ask questions on this website for real information from people who have actual experience of obtaining DTVs. You just dish out generic stuff and criticise people.
