Me, my wife, and our three children are applying for the DTV (Digital Nomad Visa), and I have a few questions. I would be very happy if someone can help me.
1. I will work remotely. Should I apply first, and then my wife and children apply after?
2. I will start my new (remote) job when we arrive, so I don’t have payslips yet. I have all the other documents. Is this a problem? Can I use payslips from my current job instead?
3. My wife and I have a shared savings account in a Swedish bank with 850,000 Baht. We are both account holders. Is this okay, or do we need to change something?
I arrived here on a visa exempt. I will apply here at immigration for a non o visa based of visiting family (my thai hustband)
Do anyone know what happends when I get the visa. Do I have to leave Thailand and come back for the non o visa to be activated? And if so, can I just boarder bounce? By plane? Or have to stay outside thailand a certain days?
Also when its approved, if I do have to leave, how fast after its approved to I have to leave?
Thank so much in advance and i am grateful for any help 🫶
I’m curious if any families that have successfully received their DTV, if you were able to show 500,000 for the whole family vs per person and if so where? My friend got her families approved in Cambodia in July but I’m just curious if there was anywhere else.
No embassy has answered my inquiry emails back yet 😅

My daughter and I have successfully received our DTV visas!
There were a few additional document requests along the way, and I truly believe that without the support of a professional agency, our applications might have been rejected.
I’m so happy and incredibly grateful for their help!🥰😃
I'm due to do my Non-O yearly extension (based on marriage) in a few months. Visa runs out on November 28th. Problem I have is that I am due to travel back to the UK over the Xmas period. I am also due to be away during October break (45 days before my visa expires and when I would normally be putting in the extension) 😬
So I would need to apply 30 days before the expiration date at the end of October and then fit in a house visit and wait for my passport and hope this can all be done before we leave on the 15th December!
I can't work out what to do, are there any options to extend my visa to cover this period and then do the proper extension once I am back in January?! Thanks
We are looking to go to Malaysia and apply for the dtv. We are a family of 5 I have our marriage certificate and birth certificates but we can’t find a clear answer. If my husband has the 500k baht in his bank is that accepted for us all or do I need to show the funds in my account also?
Do we have to show this for each child also or only the main applicant? Thankyou
Has anyone had experience with the Non-Immigrant O visa for Thailand?
I have two questions:
1. Has it ever happened to someone that accompanying children (under 18 years old) were not allowed to enter Thailand or were rejected, even though a parent held a Non-Immigrant O visa?
I’d really appreciate any insights or experiences ,thank you!
