Ally S Inglish that’s exactly what I said and Brandon was missing this detail, hence making the comment confusing for someone who doesn’t know the rules.
Many occasions doesn’t matter for a new post coming from a new post’s author.
Nick Cartwright it is confusing for people who do it first time. Brandon had good intensions, but forgot to add “apply in your home country for 90-days, come here to open a bank account and deposit 800k for 2 months, and then get annual extension within Thailand where health insurance isn’t required”. This is clear for people who don’t know. Saying “or apply for non-o in your home country” with intensions of saying “instead if Thailand” isn’t fully correct, because the post’s author wants to live here, not come for 90 days. It was confusing because it was lack of details.
that’s a confusing statement. I do’t think the post owner meant a visa for 90 days that you refer to. You can’t get a 12 months non-O in your home country, but you can get a 90-days and then 12 months extensions in Thailand without health insurance.
Anonymous participant 734 nobody said access first link. Google for official sources. Where does the immigration office states then that you don’t have to follow rules during 5 years visa but only on application?
Anonymous participant Google them it’s all over the internet. Facebook group full of trust me bro isn’t the right place. There’s no difference between first time requirements with extensions. DTV while granted for 5 years doesn’t change requirements after first 180 days even tho not always enforced. You are supposed to follow the requirements during the 5 years process or your visa may be revoked.
