That’s interesting, So did the letter say anything more like a medical procedure plan or follow up appointments or just a consultation?

I know lots of people that I’ve got it now and all they had to share with bank statements for six months and an invitation letter. So far everyone I spoke to didn’t use an visa agency either.

That would be if you were doing remote work. That would not be necessary for a freelancer

I am not sure, but I have seen somebody recently mentioned that they got it with a dental appointment but it was definitely more than one appointment planned. I think braces certainly would be a good option showing ongoing visits for a few years. Let me know if you get somewhere with that one as I have also been looking into that

might I ask what dentist you used in Thailand? I’m also looking for a dentist that will be able to provide the letters easily and the UK embassy will accept. Any advise?

As long as your bank is in your name, and you have a proof of address, but I don’t think the proof of address needs to tie in with your bank

The cheapest, soft power I have found was Muaythai courses in bkk for around 550 usd.

It may be worth considering medical treatment or dental instead.
