Should I choose the DTV visa or a retirement visa for living in Thailand after 50?

I know lots of people that I’ve got it now and all they had to share with bank statements for six months and an invitation letter. So far everyone I spoke to didn’t use an visa agency either.

What are the alternatives to Bangkok Thai Cooking Academy for obtaining a DVT in Thailand, and what are the costs?

I am not sure, but I have seen somebody recently mentioned that they got it with a dental appointment but it was definitely more than one appointment planned. I think braces certainly would be a good option showing ongoing visits for a few years. Let me know if you get somewhere with that one as I have also been looking into that

Can I apply for a visa to Thailand using a UK bank account as a Canadian citizen?

As long as your bank is in your name, and you have a proof of address, but I don’t think the proof of address needs to tie in with your bank

The cheapest, soft power I have found was Muaythai courses in bkk for around 550 usd.

It may be worth considering medical treatment or dental instead.
