Can I work remotely in Thailand with a visa that doesn't allow any type of work?
I know that the visa is not accepted for any type of work. Who received the visa and would share his/hers occupation?

A DTV visa is for remote workers and in certain soft power categories. It cannot be used as a proxy to work in Pattaya for pimping local girls as bar managers in numerous brothels fronting as bars.

It has nothing to do with the job title/field. If you have a full-time job via a company, you need to supply a letter from the company stating you are allowed to work remotely (digital nomad). Some people have not been able to supply such letter and get denied. Where more people are having issues, are those who are freelancers, consultants, etc. They don't have the ability to have their company supply a letter and what they can supply varies by case, and how the embassy interprets/accepts these documents varies.

The dtv is for those who work online remotely. It doesn’t matter what peoples jobs are because you are allowed to work online as long as you don’t work with Thai clients or receive money in Thailand.

Participante anónimo it's not based on the job name / title, but whether on the contract explicitly says you're allowed to do it 100% online and from abroad/Thailand.
