Hello everybody,

I am applying for my DTV in Hanoi right now. I am going the soft power route with a cooking class. I have no online income but do have bankstatements that reach the requierments and a sponsorship letter from my parents that will support me with a monthly budget. I also do work in Germany as a freelance socialworker from time to time, but I do that like once a year to save up money for the rest of the year (wouldnt want to show proof for that income, because back then I didn't meet the financial savings requirements if that would be a problem). What is the best way of putting this information into the online application for the DTV Visa? Do I put in my freelance status if I am currently not working and my last pay was months ago? Where do I attatch my sponsorship letter to proof I can financially sustain myself? Any answer would be highly appreciated

I am seeking recent feedback (from the last few months) regarding Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) applications submitted in Australia via the Soft Power route. Specifically, I am interested in:

1. Are applicants still receiving approvals using the 'Discover Thai Nature' 1-year seminar program?

2. Are 6-month cooking courses still sufficient for approval, or is it now advisable to book a 1-year course to ensure success?

I comfortably meet the financial requirements and have already researched previous related posts. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello,

I applied for the DTV Visa, Soft Power Route London embassy (Muay Thai)

Got an email today, asking for additional documents

For the Document indicating current location : Do bank statements work?

I provided a saver bank statement when I initially applied. 2nd time I will apply with Bank Statement of a credit card with recent transfers in UK. Does this qualify for a document for current location? 🤔

Let me know please if you were in a similar situation, thank you!

Can I add the 500k baht to my American bank account a week before applying for DTV in Hanoi?

I’ll be in Hanoi on July 7 and want to apply while there, but nervous about being rejected if the money is not seasoned. Would love to hear experiences like mine.

For reference I am going the soft power route (6 month cooking class).

I am currently living in the UK and looking to move to Thailand in the next few months. I'm going to apply for a DTV visa but just wanted some advice. I'm a landlord in the UK, I have owned the property for over approx 15 years and have rented it out for 6 years. I have all my tax returns, deeds for the property, proof of rental agreement, proof of sufficient funds in the bank and proof of monthly rental payments. Would this be appropriate/ sufficient for a 'freelance' DTV visa? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Hi guys,

Wanted to share positive story. APPROVED in Hanoi with Soft Power route, and Wild Cat Muay Thai Gym in Chiang Mai. @wildcatmuaythai.

I applied on Monday 31st of April and received e-mail one week later at 3pm on 7th of April, which I did not expect as it is day off in Thailand.

No request for another documents, pending document check after one day and then another days waiting in patience.

I write this few days later as I got quite sick (Acute bronchitis with very bad cough) and I am still recovering slowly.

Please mind Hanoi is fun, but pm 2.5 pollution was even 250 when I was there. It had massive impact on my health.

I would love to thank Meaw from the gym as she helped us with gym documents and was very professional, also I'd like to thank all members of group, as your posts and answers helped me a lot.

STATEMENT was 3 months full statement, above 14k Euro for 3 weeks before applying.

I also added photo of me in Hanoi, in front of Hotel and tickets and so on to the location.

No questions asked on entry.

Thank you Thai Royal Embassy in Hanoi <3
