Hi , applied today for soft medical appointment Dvt at London embassy got a reply stating they require a letter addressed to the embassy confirming my appointment & signed.do the hospitals supply such letters?
Just got approved for soft power medical from Washington DC. Was super simple. Made an appointment at Bangkok Hospital and submitted that email confirmation. They requested a more official letter so I emailed the hospital for an official letter of appointment which they provided within 24 hrs. Another 24 hrs later DTV approved. I definitely recommend the soft power options if your self employed / business owner but providing certain documents is going to be difficult.
I just picked up my DTV at the Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta. I applied with a single medical appointment (dermatologist).
It was a very smooth process. Both at submission and pick up there was no wait time. At submission, the (very friendly) officer checked my documents and I explained a few things around the documents related to my financial situation. Other than that no questions were asked and no further documents were requested.
I submitted my application last Wednesday and was told to come back today. However, the valid from date on the visa is the date I submitted my application. They must have processed it right away. If someone is in a rush, it might pay off to chase them up before the assigned pick up date.
I submitted:
Cover letter explaining my general situation and why I am applying for the visa
Print out of an confirmation email of my medical appointment
Print outs from my bank accounts, an overview and statements going back to January this year.
I am looking for advice regarding a family emergency and medical appointment. I currently have an education visa until June 2025, but I have been in a waitlist for a heart procedure in my home country Canada. I just got an appointment to do all necessary testing needed for my procedure September 17, but I just received a call informing me that my cousin is on life support but will being taken off of life support 💔😭. Can anyone please tell me how long I can leave Thailand for with a re-entry permit!?? I do not want to lose my education visa but need to be with my family and attend my appointment.
Anyone applied to DTV using medical appointment at Thai embassy in Laos or Cambodia? How likely to get it for an existing condition where you already received care in Thailand?
