Good one. Some of the small local offices are easier for many items. A pal uses one in Surin and he says it is night and day compared to his experiences at Jomtien
First thing to check is if the Mexico Thai Embassy accepts applications from 3rd country nationals and on what visa it is possible. Some Embassies only accept 3rd country applications if you have a long term or residence visa. Ask the embassy
Anonymous participant Best to try each place for a month or so before committing. If you need access to airport from International travel then Rayong etc is 90 mins to 2 hours. Hua Hin is lovely too but airport access not so convenient.
Anonymous participant It looks quote nice there. It was a place I was considering if getting house down there. Pal had a 2 bedroom bungalow for less than 20k I think it was. No pool etc
Anonymous participant I think you can find houses much cheaper than that outside of Pattaya. Look at places like Bang Saray and Rayong. You might get a pleasant surprise at arounf 20k :-)
There is no official requirement to keep the 500k in the bank. The only time it is required currently is for in country extensions and for 30 days before application.
