The visa fee is for 5 years. You do not have to pay again. The only possible extra fees are 1900 for an in countey extension of 180 days.

Exactly this. It is location dependent and there are no general guidelines issued. Each embassy can decide upon their own.

The 500k is for 30 days prior to extension according to multiple reports in here.

Not DTV but my O had to be cancelled before I could apply for my B. It might be different with the DTV and others may have different experience.

I do think it is supposed to be a requirement. However, I went to Vietnam twice last year on holiday using the 45 day visa exempt. Not asked to show the return even though I had one. Back in 2017 I flew in and was asked but not in 4 trips since.

The Thai Embassy will be closed now till 16th or maybe even 17th if they get 16 off in lieu of today the 13th.

When my pal and son were leaving (Just before blacklisting came in) he had to pay a fine for them both. The son is disabled and is Thai but on British passport. The immigration did not want to fine the kid but had to. They were very apologetic apparently.

Maybe not blacklisted but could be denied entry??? My pals son had 5 year overstay - never been denied entry after it though.
