Thai MFA spokesman just confirmed that Social Security Health Cover is OK to use as insurance for expats to enter Thailand if you travel out and come back.

Nothing confirmed but Embassies struggling with COE numbers. How they could handle double ot triple volume? Need to see details next week lol

I honestly havent read anything about Thailand pass. That would be great if it happend, but I don't understand how they would be able to manage that. Embassies have a hard enough time processing COEs for people in their country, now 1 office in Thailand will process all COEs for the whole world?

It is not going through Embassies for Thaipass though is it? I thought it was being centralised. Embassies will not have capacity???
