problem is that on beginning of DTV you could qualify with one week of cooking course. Now that is unlikely 😕 and you need to spend a lot more on cooking course. Additionally if your parent has health care difficulties you can do this way. Because on beginning people were getting DTV just based on dentist appointment. No school or medical establishment will guarantee you a visa.

yes I did it for my mother. You need birth certificate and change name certificate since on birth certificate is your mother maiden name

I was referring to genuine people who have benefits for staying in Thailand. If you have no long term benefit than DTV is perfect for you.
