I just think it is best not to complicate things. It is not needed for the application. They are not looking at the supply source but like to see evidence of your sales etc.
The DTV specifically excludes working in Thailand with Thai customers and with Thai companies. Please show me where it says they are OK if you are exporting from Thailand? As I said I would not mention it and have his overseas legal entity deal with the Thai legal entity. In his application, he does not have to state where the supplier is located. EDIT: It also looks obvious the business has been run from Thailand while on Tourist and ED visas - even more reason not to mention suppliers.
Print it out and keep it with your passport. You will soon have a TM30 in there and a 90 Day report if yiu stay long enough. Mine are stapled in by Immigration
The producing jewellery in Thailand bit could be problematic. You are not supposed to be dealing with Thai clients or customers on the DTV. Might be best not to put any focus on that during any application
This question is on all visa forms is it not? Just out a Thai froend or their business down if yiu have one. Seems strange to ask this question though.
Yeah a couple of pals coming up from Singapore on a monthly basis using exemption were told to get visas next time. They were on long term passes or PR in Singapore. You are doing the right thing with DTV.
I have 2 pals from my home in UK are going to move from Spouse to DTV. They are not full time in Thailand but the DTV will be convenient for 6 month trips. They will use their UK Ltd company and say they work remote.
