Wise move with the boarder run I’d say, seems to be a lot of scrutiny with the 90 day extensions

For soft power you will be fine, assuming you have proof of 500k thb in your account

You have to apply for the dtv outside Thailand, and when you exit Thailand ur ed visa is cancelled for 2,000 baht fee

It shouldn’t be a problem

Just make sure to always boarder bounce rather than extend within Thailand, seems to be less scrutiny but doesn’t guarantee they won’t ask questions

I didn’t look for the cheapest lol I pay for Muay Thai training with good gyms and respected trainers, but if you found 5 years worth of training for something for $400 then good for you

if ur attending regularly it shouldn’t cost you any more than if you’re buying lessons for your dtv, and yeah but if you don’t want to attend then neither of the visas are right for you

Just say uk as that’s where you’d have got ur passport from and tbh if for some reason you got it abroad, still put uk as I saw someone got rejected for having a random country as their place of issue

If ur intention is to stay inside Thailand for that time then I recommend an ed visa. Benefit of having a dtv is you can leave and enter as you wish

You 100% have to be outside the country, you’ll need to provide proof of this such as exit stamp from your passport or your hotel booking. You have to be in the city of the embassy you’re applying through
