If I have 2 accounts in the same bank, one with more than 500k (savings account) and one with less (main account) and my online work payments go into the one with less than 500k, would this be a problem for me when applying for DTV?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Concerns about having two bank accounts when applying for the DTV visa are common. Applicants are advised to provide details of both accounts, explaining their purposes—one for savings and the other for daily transactions. It's important to demonstrate that you have sufficient cash available for living expenses. Having a variety of accounts with activity is often seen positively, unlike a lump sum in one account without any activity. Many expats have successfully shown multiple accounts in their applications.
Anonymous participant I was at a DTV promotions events yesterday and your question pretty much came up. Answer was show both accounts and short explanation in cover note. One thing they said some Embassies do not like is just a lump sum in an account and no activity. A bigger red flag is the lump sum deposited just for the DTV.
From my experience it won't but you're best to show both and explain on the first page. They are looking to see if you have the asset in cash and can easily use it for living expenses which it sounds like you do.
