I will contact the embassy and than take this with the MFA for review. The moment i got my approved i save it on PDF right away. Next time do the same and you will claim will have more support . If they had approved it first the correct status should be cancelled so it looks like its an error from their side. Hope this helps πŸ™

ALWAYS USE THE COUNTRY OF ISSUANCE THERE even if your passport states it was a consulate/embassy abroad. I had someone verify this at the hanoi embassy . As there were many different stories as of what to put from different people. They confirmed me before i submitted my application. Cannot confirm at other posts . If your passport reads PLACE OF ISSUANCE US EMBASSY BANGKOK PUT β€œ UNITED STATES β€œ or your application will be rejected as soon as the pending document check mark. I saw at least 10 applications that were rejected during my time in HANOI. For this im

Dont trust the passport reader and type letter by letter one by one. If your name shows bla bla bla you write just that nothing else. Dont add take anything. When they ask you where you got your passport . PUT THE COUNTRY OF ISSUANCE . Never out consulate or any other thing EVEN IF ITS ON THE PASSPORT. Embassies and consulates that little piece of land are considered to be part of the same country. If your passport was issued at the us embassy in bangkok put place of issuance β€œ UNITED STATESβ€πŸ™

finally please. I have been saying this for a long time. DTV is a nonimigrant TOURIST VISA that JUST allows longer periods of stay up to 180 days but you are not expected to have accounts. Tourists are not considered residents and are restricted in this sense. IF YOU HAD 30 years of living in Thailand and want to keep things that way. STAY IN THE VISA THAT ALLOWED YOU TO HAVE SUCH LIFE. Plain and simple. The dtv was not intended for people save on visa fees. My 2 cents πŸ™

If you use the same bank account YES 1 million is expected in the account . If you use another account no or at least this has not been required. Dependend visas no need income to qualify as their visas are under yours presumably. But still EACH APPLICANT IN THEORY MUST HAVE 500k In an account to qualify for adjudication under DTV
