No problem at all showing 500k Baht in a Thai Bank account. I have a few pals who did this. Two of them got the visas last July in London just after DTV implemented.

I did not get that from them explicitly. What did come over as priority were visitor numbers and GDP growth. Reading between the lines I think that the impression is remote workers provide more to the economy. One off the cuff remark by an attendee, not an official was nobody is doing Muay Thai or Cookery for 5 years. I am not getting into a debate about GDP contribution lol. The other thing mentioned was ease of extension and if re-entry requirements change in the future by immigration

You should post a price range if you are going to promote a particular service

If you want just your application checked for quality and completeness I would say 300 to 400 USD is a good price with a refund if application unsuccessful. There are those charging 100k THB and I even heard of 150k. What are they offering for that?

Your issue is the current Cambodia Thailand Border status. Given that problem if only by land then Nong Khai and cross the border to Laos. Get bus or train or fly to Udon Thani.

Same in most embassies When the BritEmbassy used to do visa a local hire does first review. Mostly just checking all papers in order. Then Consular Officer has final say so. Has to be remembered for most of the applications English is not their native language and most applications are in English. If it is not clear to them they can ask for clarity or more documentation.
