TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the fair price range for hiring a visa agent to assist with the DTV visa application in Thailand. Prices mentioned in the comments vary significantly, from as low as 3,000 THB (approx. 90 USD) to as high as 150,000 THB (approx. 4,500 USD) depending on the service level provided. Users emphasize not only the price but also the importance of effective communication and a reliable record of visa approvals when selecting an agent. Some participants recommend doing the application process independently as it can be straightforward.
Really depends on reqyirements from your side, hsve seen anything from 5k bath to 250k bath
Personally mostly see 5-25k
Also heavily depends if you want a fixer or a visa agent really different things

Issa compass charge 18,000 baht so 600usd , they use AI software also to check & this includes the cost for the visa fee for DTV so works out about $120 for their fee
16k thb for me, 3 weeks ago, INCLUDING administrative visa fee (around 12k). Obtained in less than 4 days. Did they recently increase their price? When did they quote you 18k?

Where did you apply from? I think the embassy cost varies slightly too , it says 18,000 on their website so maybe you got lucky before they put it up, still well worth it in my eyes to get peace of mind and quality standards are there

My personal opinion is, why would you pay someone who is unfamiliar with your personal documents?
And quite honestly, if you can’t follow a list of documents to prepare like how are you gonna make it in this world?
It was an easy visa to get

Actually, when we take into account the payment fees and all expenses related to the service (including PayPal fees, taxes, and employee costs), this price leaves us with almost no profit — it’s nearly break-even.
We simply want to support foreigners who are applying for the DTV visa, helping them get everything right so they don’t face rejection from the embassy and lose their visa fee. Just having a foreigner come to Thailand and spend their money to support our local economy is the biggest return we could get from offering this service.
We understand that foreigners are very important to the Thai economy, and we have no intention of overcharging them for a visa-related service.
I worked in New Product Development at major companies. I am helping friends now launch product and businesses. For pricing you price by value and not time. You are in business to make money. Put your prices up. You are not a charity :-) :-) if you doubled your price it would still be good value.

If you want just your application checked for quality and completeness I would say 300 to 400 USD is a good price with a refund if application unsuccessful. There are those charging 100k THB and I even heard of 150k. What are they offering for that?
As I said at the meeting yesterday they indicated lump sum deposits are a red flag

I think the price depend about the case. The most important for me is not only the price, but to find agent with great communication, and able to obtain your visa, about what i see some agent have à lot of reject too. I use visathailand.com. back with my visa in the pocket yesterday.
