Yeh I’ve already extended it, as my police check from inside Thailand took a while for some reason , so now don’t have time to do it in house so to speak . Hmm I would be annoyed if I had the right documents to do it inside Thailand but not the time , and then the wrong documents for doing it outside of Thailand 🤷‍♂️

Yes I wanted to do that also, but I have less than two weeks left on my visa exempt so kinda need to do it outside of Thailand

Hmm yes I was told by my school to do a Thai police check for the non b and never one from the UK. I did have one many years ago but I have to go to savannakhet Tomorow . I could have prepared this if I knew earlier however as I was informed by the school to conduct one within Thailand I didn’t think about the UK one and hope I can use that one at the consulate

yes I saw this also , however when I was there in November it wasn’t required but I was missing one other document and so couldn’t process it, now I’m going back again with the documents apart from the UK police check , as I haven’t been in the Uk for several years . I do have a Thai police clearance and not sure if somebody has recent experience from that consulate

I.e documents required from my end before . As I live in my fiancés house not sure about proof of accommodation/ funds or is that more for tourist visa ?

a proper one from my school . It’s the first one I’ve done and since covid not sure on protocol .

I recommend just keeping your original flights as booked and using the onward ticket website to make another booking for the immigration and airline check in purposes. Around 15 dollars to create a real ticket for a limited time

ahh okay , yes I wasn’t sure how it applied due to the special covid extension putting me 90 days in the country even without a non b visa at the moment . Maybe I can try online and if it gets rejected I can go and ask if they require it . Am I right in thinking it has moved back to chaengwattana from the temporary office around impact for bkk ?

you have to get the 30 normal extension first before being applicable for the covid extension. My 30 day extension expires on the 22nd hence the need/ hope for the covid extension lol

ahh okay , I gotta go to lak si as I am under visa exempt currently, however as it’s my first covid visa extension I’m hoping they’ll be okay with it even without ongoing travel .
