TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion focuses on the process of applying for a COVID visa extension at Lak Si Immigration compared to a regular extension. Key points include that for a COVID extension, required documents may include forms, passport copies, and evidence of accommodation. It's suggested that applicants might be asked for an Embassy letter or proof of exit plans. Some users share their experiences, such as receiving an under consideration stamp and the necessity of obtaining a regular extension first before being eligible for a COVID extension.
you have to get the 30 normal extension first before being applicable for the covid extension. My 30 day extension expires on the 22nd hence the need/ hope for the covid extension lol
I did a COVID extension today in Chaeng Wattana from an NON-ED. I was not asked any questions. Just showed the forms, passport copies and TM30 which was stamped and I had to sign.
I got an under consideration stamp until August 9th
ahh okay , I gotta go to lak si as I am under visa exempt currently, however as it’s my first covid visa extension I’m hoping they’ll be okay with it even without ongoing travel .
