Contract will say remote work. Letter would specify remote work from Thailand.

Did they ask for proof of a flight from London to Thailand, or any accommodation proof at all?

Anonymous participant your landlord doesn’t provide a residence certificate. Immigration do.

Your landlord should have already filed a TM30 with immigration. Go there and ask for the certificate.

you can’t get one without the correct visa. So if you’ve got a DTV you won’t get a work permit.

I used them on the way out, thought they might have them on the way in too :)

You told them you’re leaving the country you applied in and are heading to Thailand before the visa was approved.

Unless you entered Thailand via the new (ish) eGates then they’ll see the Thai entry stamp and will have grounds for refusing your visa.

The only option you have really is to do what they asked and see what happens.

If you don’t do it they’ll definitely refuse it so you don’t really have a choice.

Best way round this problem in the future would be to scan and upload all passport pages before they asked for them.

Don’t give up after visiting one branch of one bank.

Enter Thailand on your British passport you’ll get 60 days visa exempt. Enter on your Philippine passport with DTV you’ll get 180 days.

The DTV being issued as a pdf file doesn’t mean it’s not tied to a specific passport. The passport details are on the visa, you won’t be able to use it with a different passport.

If you translate an official document then submit the original with the translated version.

I see they hand wrote the date that your passport expires at the top. Did they say what you should do when that happens?
