I worked really hard at the transport department and actually got them to send it up there and 3 weeks later it was all done. It was hard to get them out of their comfort zone. I think it cost me 100-200 baht and an hour's time. I bought them a red velvet cake as a second thank you.

Where? How old? What type of visa?

Simply leaving come back. Go to the border. Take a quick flight. Up to you.

Another friend of mine had exactly this happened. Not a problem at all.

there was a foundation during COVID and the volunteers lived all over Thailand doing nothing. Anyway the agent was getting stamps from many different provinces and many people struggled to get out from that foundation to get a new visa. Anyway one day you might have a problem.

@Jim ******
well if you live in one province and get a stamp in another province it can lead to issues.

@Jim ******
what province is your visa from?

If you have a look at some of the other Thai visa groups you will find a lot more stories like this. Sadly no rhyme nor reason publicised about this.

You have your ducks in a row so I would suggest applying now for the DTV before there's changes.

many people who have had one or more entries already into Thailand this year, have been giving a much harder time at immigration, for exempt entries.

And a few with very different circumstances and lengths of time in Thailand long-term and in the last couple of years, have actually been held, questioned and then sent back to their passport country.
