Apply in Hong Kong use the evisa system as Hong Kong will not deal with in person application, need to submit insurance from the system.

Asked 2 agents in pattaya, they said rules changed, cannot do with tourist visa. Also, asked several branches in bkk and hq, also cannot do.

Yes, you are right. My case is mother nowadays cannot open bank account with tourist visa. Cannot apply non o visa on my home country as her age is over the max insurable age. Therefore, I want to find agent in other provinces to check if she can open bank account.

Ask in bkk and pattaya, both said she cannot open bank account with tourist visa.
