Can I travel to Thailand on a one-way ticket with a DTV visa?

I have a question for those who got a DTV visa and went to Thailand. Can I go to Thailand from the United States with a one-way ticket without having a return ticket? Does airport employees force you to have a return ticket even though you have a visa? Please share your experiences.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Traveling to Thailand on a one-way ticket with a DTV visa is generally acceptable, according to community experiences. Most travelers report that airport staff do not require an onward or return ticket when presenting a valid DTV visa. Printing the visa and having it accessible during check-in is advisable. While some airlines might ask for a return ticket, it is often not enforced, especially if you have a visa. If questioned, it is recommended to request a supervisor.

If you have a DTV you should be good... If you are really nervous about it go to Orbitz and buy a ticket that has free cancellation within 24 hours. But honestly I don't think it's necessary.

You should be fine without an onward travel ticket as long as you show them your DTV. Print it out before you travel.

NO, airlines may like you to have return tickets sold by them but it is NEVER a reguirement.

Those who travel without a visa, can be asked for onward travel.

Those travelling with a valid visa or extension of stay are NOT asked.
