So just to be clear. You get one 180 day extension in a five year period. So once you use that single extension you cannot get another for the visit if the visa and have to leave within 180 days. Then secondly for the 90 day reporting you only need to do that if you are staying past 90 days . So if you leave the country at 89 days you would be exempt from the reporting ? And then every time you enter it’s automatically 180 consecutive days again you can stay?

Just planning my next trip to the Kingdom for March. Going for 40 days so checked my passport to see if I had received 60 days when I visited in December. Noticed that there was no departure stamp. Will that be an issue?

Hi All,

I have 90 day report question for the DTV visa.

If I entered Thailand on October 10, but then left the country on November 5th and returned to Thailand on November 12th , do I have to complete the 90 day report from the first time I entered or only the second time if I stayed 90 consecutive days?

Thanks in advance.

I applied for my DTV while in the UK 3 weeks before my flight date. It was still processing on my flight date so I arrived in Thailand on a visa exemption for 60 days.

My DTV has now been approved and emailed to me but I’m already inside Thailand for 1 week so far.

Can I just fly out and in a nearby country to have my DTV activated or do I need to fly from the UK again?

Anyone have any recommendations in regards to doing a border bounce from Thailand to Singapore back to Thailand? I’m going to be overstaying by one day unfortunately due to my flight being cancelled last minute. Will there be any issues with immigration if I were to fly back in visa exempt after only one day in Singapore and also just having overstayed by one day? Input please?

Is it necessary to do the 90 day report if I leave Thailand 91 days after last entry? I have a flight out at 1:50am on the 91st day 😆

My understanding is you can do the report up to 7 days late (97 days after last entry), but what if I leave within those extra 7 days?

Hello, I want to do the Elite 5 year visa as there are not really any other options (except border bounces which I have done and do not want to do again and I want to be legal.) My question is, I usually leave the country 3 times a year and when I get stamped in and out on my Elite visa, another year starts. So if I get stamped out every 4 months and a new year starts, how does that work? I am just not fully understanding this? Thanks for any clarification

Does anyone know If coming in on tourist visa exempt (ie 30 days), when asked on the Thailand pass registration how many days we will be staying in Thailand, will it be a problem to state 59 days (since we can get a tourist extension for 30 more days)? Or should we state 30 days on the registration, and then just get an extension when we are in Thailand?

Update: it has been approved. So it appears not a problem to state staying 59 days under tourist exempt. Applied @10am UK time 10 Nov, received pass 11 Nov 9pm, travelling 27th Nov 🥂. Thanks for all the replies!
