Morning, wondering if anyone can clear this up for me, with a tourist visa how many re-entries and extensions can you do before you’re denied re-entry into the country. I thought you were only allowed to do this 3 times per year but I’ve also heard that you can come in and out for an entire year before been denied entry 🤷🏻

Any insight will be appreciated, thanks in advance 💚

Hi Everyone,

For the Thailand Special Tourist Visa (STV), can you extend your visa then leave Thailand and come back within the visa extension time frame without issue? Also, for the STV visa requirement of 3 months of rent purchased, does the entire 3 month rent have to be at the same building or can it be multiple rentals that cover the entire 3 month time frame?

Thank you for your time!

I have just received a Thai multiple entry tourist visa. The visa expires 6 months from now and states “Length of stay in Thailand = 60 days.”

Does this mean that I can stay for 60 days EACH TIME I enter Thailand or does it mean that for all my visits to Thailand I can stay only for 60 days IN THE AGGREGATE?

Thanks.

Dear all, another question to ask regarding ED Visa. Has anyone ever been denied re-entry into Thailand because of multiple exits and re-entry during the duration of the ED Visa?

I'm asking because I have to make a few trips home during the ED Visa period, and have a few travel plans in mind during the ED Visa period as well. I'm concerned that the immigration officers would take issue with this and deny my ED Visa entry at the airport.
