I have soft power DTV (Muay Thai) - Need to do my first re-entry in July.
Will fly out of Thailand for one week and come back.
The 6 month course that got me originally approved will be over.
Do I need to buy a new Muay Thai course?
Will the immigration officer ask me to prove where I am taking Muay Thai classes?
Any advice very much appreciated
Answer summary
The questioner, who holds a soft power DTV visa to train in Muay Thai, is preparing for their first re-entry to Thailand and inquires if they need to purchase a new Muay Thai course since their initial 6-month course will end. Multiple commenters advise that it is not necessary to buy a new course and emphasize that immigration typically does not ask for proof of ongoing training. The conversation also touches upon the validity of the visa despite a lapse in training and the importance of adhering to immigration rules to avoid complications.

Up to you if you buy more or not. I haven't but I'm trading stocks now for income, perfectly legal with my DTV.
If only there was some sort of office dedicated to immigration where they had some sort of reception desk specially designed for answering benign questions about how visas work for travelers
Be careful. Look at the thousands of foreigners being arrested in the last couple weeks. They don’t need a reason really to say you are fraudulently here.
Maybe because it's not a requirement of the visa. I have re-entered 12 times, and not once have immigration asked where I am training. It's just the best visa ever 🙂💪🙏
