How does the length of stay work with a Thai multiple entry tourist visa?

I have just received a Thai multiple entry tourist visa. The visa expires 6 months from now and states “Length of stay in Thailand = 60 days.”

Does this mean that I can stay for 60 days EACH TIME I enter Thailand or does it mean that for all my visits to Thailand I can stay only for 60 days IN THE AGGREGATE?

Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Thai multiple entry tourist visa (METV) allows you to stay in Thailand for a maximum of 60 days each time you enter the country. You can exit and re-enter multiple times within the visa's 6-month validity period. Each new entry grants you another 60 days, which can be extended for an additional 30 days at the immigration office. Careful planning of your entries and exits can maximize your time in Thailand.

60 day multi entry means u get 60 day's stay but can leave and enter multiple times within the 60 day's

Stig Olesen Gamm. Wrong. You can leave and re-enter as many times as you like in the SIX MONTHS validity of the visa

Each time you enter you get stamped in for 60 days and can extend for a further 30 days at immigration office. You then leave and re-enter, and the repeat the process. If you do a second leave/re-enter just before the visa expires, you can get a third bite at the cherry and get another 60+30 days

Yes agree with Lyndon can you post a pic of the visa but covering personal information.

If it is a METV, your stays in Thailand are maximum 60 days, and can extend for another 30 days. You can leave and re-enter any number of times during the 6 months that the visa is valid. You can calculate the number of times you can do re-entries.

However, the validity of the visa starts when it is issued by your embassy, NOT when you enter Thailand.

If you arrive in Thailand 1 month after it was issued, you will have 5 months left of the METV—and this will affect the number of times you will be able to do re-entries.

However, right now, especially with Omicron, it is not known if you will be able to do re-entries or if it will be worth it or be too complicated.
