Question that I wasn’t quite able to find the answer to on my own- I know you need about 500k THB when applying, but if you leave the country and then return do they check your account for the 500k? Not an extension, but leaving and reentering before the 180 day mark.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a DTV visa in Thailand, the requirement to have 500,000 THB in your account is an application necessity, not one that is checked every time you re-enter the country. Comments from community members indicate that there are no reports of individuals being asked to show this proof when returning to Thailand before the 180-day mark.

I have yet to read anywhere that DTV holders are being asked to show proof of having 500,000 baht when re-entering the country.

Absolutely not. It's a application requirement, not ongoing. If it was an ongoing requirement it would be in writing
