How long will the new 60 day entry last. Maybe for the rest of this Year? Does anyone know?

Hello everyone and thank you for accepting me into the group. I’m John from Scotland UK.

I’ve read many comments and answers and I have to say it’s the most pleasant and accommodating group I’ve seen for a long time.

Well done to the mods and members.

I have a few questions but I’ll just start with two for now.

Q1. In the past I got a 30 day visa exemption on arrival and only ever stayed for 30 days. Do you now get a 60 day stamp on arrival?

Q2. If that is the case is there any benefit in applying for a 60 day Tourist Visa online before arriving?

Thank you in advance.

John

Any speculation about when they'll announce the new Visa policies.

I need to apply for a new visa but it seems pointless if they're going to change visa exempt timelines.

ATTENTION AUSSIE MEMBERZ

The thai consulates in Sydney and Canberra went LIVE on the eVisa online application system today

Sadly there is no longer an option to get a year-long, multi-entry Non-O from either consulate (the system defaults to single entry and you cannot select multi

Good news though, there has been NO price increase in the visa fees at this time

READ THE USER MANUAL to learn how to navigate the system

I'm currently on a visa exemption with a Vietnamese passport. Am I still able to apply for an extension? Before October 2023, I couldn't, but they lifted the restriction. I just want to confirm if I can still extend my stay. Many thanks.

Asking for a buddy any suggestion for a cheap thai insurance policy that covers the O-A retirement visa - just until he can get home and come back and apply for an O visa - I use pacific prime but over spec for what he needs - and agents are being silly

Interested to hear whether the group think the 90 day visa exempt policy will, in fact, be extended to Australians, US & UK citizens.
