What should I do if my Thai eVisa has not been issued despite my flight being in 15 days?
Hi there. I applied my evisa tourist on the early of May and my flight is in 15 days, and yet my visa havent been issued. I tried emailing them but no respond. I called the embassy in canberra and the last time I called they didnt even asked my ref number but just asked when is my flight and I will get the visa 2-3 days before. Is it true? Its quite stressful since I’ve already paid my flight, my work leave has been approved and my accomodation needs to be paid in few days. Has anyone face this issue?

Mine turned up the morning I flew out. I was just going to get visa exempt when I arrived.

Log on to the immigration website the status should be visible there- maybe they require extra documents or had issues with payment?

Even if your visa doesn't arrive you will get 60 days visa exempt when you enter (assuming you are Aus passport holder), so don't even think about changing your flight.

They could at least give you an email that says you are approved and the visa will follow. I can understand the uncertainty of your situation 😔

You always receive metv as late as possible I've even had one the day before

EVisa (METV) is valid from date of issue so you will get it 3-4 days before your flight
