No doubt been asked many times.

The 400k that is required for marriage visa, does that apply to the original visa application or just for renewals?

Is it possible for the DTV to show that you rent properties in France? That and a military pension being my income. I would have control of the properties, rental, maintenance etc but remotely manage it from Thailand. Many thanks in advance

I got my dtv visa yesterday. My children are with me in Thailand (under 14).

Do I have to pay to get a visa for them? What happens if they overstay by several months with visa exemption? Thank you

In addition to a posting earlier today, about switching from the 800K method to the 65K method, I wonder how this switch works for citizens of countries that still work with the affidavits.

My embassy still legalizes affidavits as proof of income. So I do not need to have monthly 65K transfers to Thailand. I only have to proof 65K income in my country.

So, I suppose that an affidavit, would be sufficient to switch from the 800K to the 65K method? Although I still would have to prove that I didn’t go under the 800K/400K limit during the past 12 months.

Or do I need 2 affidavits, one from a year earlier, and one from the moment that I want to switch? It was never clear to me if those affidavits are statements about past income (last year I earned …) or future income (to declare that your income during the next 12 months will be enough to pay for your stay in Thailand) .

I have a 1 year AO visa multiple entry and I reported the 90 days online. All worked well. I left Thailand mid April via Suvarnabhumi Airport. Before I went through Immigration I asked an officer if I needed a re-entry stamp or document but he lead me to the Thai immigration row. I got the usual stamp showing that I've exited Thailand. I would think that there's no further 90-day reporting required since I'm back home in Europe but last week I've received an email where they reminded me to report the 90 days. How is that possible when I have left the country? What should I do?

Also it's a bit unclear what to do on the website as there's no mention of notifying them that I'm abroad. And what's the usual thing to do when I stayed in Thailand? Should I then click on 'New Application TM47' each time I have to report?

Thx

I'm from a Singapore that have visa exemption for 30 days. My question is that if I enter Thailand from Malaysia does that I can't enter into Thailand thru Malaysia for more than 2 times with the exemption free visa?

Hi,

I had 2 months Tourist visa + 1 month extension.

I left for a month outside of Thailand and i am coming back via bkk airport - a month later.

1. Will I have problems getting 30 days free visa on arrival? ( the previous Tourist visa was the the only one I had in the past 3 years)

2. Will i have problem extending this for +30 ? ( again, after being there for 90 days till a month ago)

Not sure what are the clear rules via bkk.

Thanks!

I’m renewing my marriage visa in early November.

Right after that, I’m applying for a re-entry permit.

Can I leave as long as 6 months?
