But seriously...I can't believe that people already decide to leave their country, have already exact dates when they go to Thailand but haven't done the minimum required research. And yes, knowing which visa I need to stay in a foreign country is the absolute minimum of research before (!) I can decide if I move or not.

You can't just pack up and move. you need to apply for the correct visa for both of you before you even think about it. Do your research then decide which visa applies to your circumstances. No one on here knows your situation so you won't get the response your asking or looking for
