Roy James Vietnam's great. Also find it easier to navigate when travelling. Its more or less a straight line unless you come inland for a visit to Da Lat and the like. Great beaches. Havent been north of Da Nang so my next visit I will be taking in the coastal towns up to Ha Long and over to Hanoi and Sapa

Roy James I think you will find its laziness from govt who cant be arsed chasing real villains so everyone suffers. All governments take this route now. Ban things rather than fix it. This example is perfect. They couldnt catch this fella because they couldnt be arsed or didnt even know, so when more examples like this show themselves, they have to be seen to be doing something. Yet they cant? So the easiest option is to fk everyone over. Im not sure how reducing 60 days to 30 helps either but yet again, its just another anti farang move. The blokes a tit.

Thailand relies on tourism. If they didnt make the effort to learn English I guess the Chinese would be their only visitors, give or take. So would you also expect all the Chinese to speak Thai? Or just western whiteys?

Also, Thailand is the only country on earth who's first language is Thai 🤣

So yeah, if you're gonna move there and live there, learn the language. For a vacation, both parties can get by and do so happily.

Are you sifting through the internet for stuff to feel guilty and virtuous about? No-one cares kidda, not even the Thais. They understand if they want tourism, they need to adapt to tourists! They are the ones with the dosh! As for living their, learn the language
