Martin Normanton > does the transfer date have to be the same date every month OR does the bank statement just need to show 'different month' for the international transfer ?
show 'different month', because the same date is technically not possible, just by fact banks not working on holidays. Let's say you transfer amount on every 1st of every month, this month your trasfer will arrive only 4-5, but next month it will arrive on 2-3, because in June 1-2-3 is a weekend + Public Holiday.
Russell Graves your logic will not work in the case. The whole income method is based on assumption that you have monthly transfers into local bank account, YOUR account in your name, not your Mrs account. Then you may transfer amount to Mrs account: Withdraw from ATM card (also overseas) etc. But you must build 12 records for a year with FTT transfers to your account, this is what immigration considered as income from abroad...
Things are simplier: your marriage visa will give you maximum possible freedom (from any job) compared to general Non-B. You may work or not, you may quit job any time w/o affect your visa status at all. Sounds good? Very close to resident permit with one note, it still depends on your marriage status...
Regarding consultant, I not sure as the company which provide WP for you will pay taxes and social security from your salary. So technically you will be employed by some company anyway. Oh, and there is no difference between BOI and MOL companies, any can do WP for you.
> personally don't believe any ground staff at an airport in another country would know or understand about WP of Thailand especially those are in Thai
Hong Kong In Town Check In understands all. They even speak Thai
