You'll need a completed TM47 to give to the Immigration officer. You need to produce your Passport and they are likely to check you have a TM30 (address notification).

No photographs or photocopies needed.

You'll leave with what you took, (except the TM47) and you'll have a new loose leaf 90 day receipt in your Passport.

Usually painless :)

Just to add, it can only be extended once, (then you must leave the Country).

@Ju***
, thanks. I'll get a native Thai speaker to help me with that. I'll give feedback about my success or otherwise when I return to Thailand in about 3 weeks.

@Ta***
, thanks. I will attempt to have the elderly Thai lady complete this. She kind and helpful, but challenged with anything computer related. The screen shots will help very much. Cheers.

@Vlad****
, thanks. I rent, not own. I know I can nominate 'guests' at my rental home upon lodging their paper TM30 (advice from CM Immigration).

The ask:thailand community, consisting of multiple Q/A groups with over 100,000 members, powers this platform. It is not an official government resource. Our members actively contribute to this resource, and while we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee its complete reliability. Assistance to travelers is provided as a community service.
