Can I electronically inform Immigration of my address return and register multiple addresses in Thailand?

Hi. I've read a few comments about the 'possibility' of electronically (online) informing Immigration that we have returned (to the address we previously registered by TM30). Is that possible for an individual (rather than a hotel or similar)?

A 2nd question. Is it acceptable to register at 2 (or more addresses) within Thailand? (I intend to visit a couple of friends in different provinces and stay at their homes).

Thank you in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the possibility of electronically notifying Immigration of their return to a previously registered address through TM30. They seek clarification whether this can be done individually as a tenant, rather than a hotel or similar establishment. Additionally, they ask if it's permissible to register at multiple addresses within Thailand while visiting friends in different provinces. Commenters confirm that online TM30 registration is possible, especially if the property owner has registered it first, and suggest that tenants can also report their return if they have the necessary documentation.

It could well be possible to register to online reporting with just the rental contract. Why don't you try? There is the option "pukropkrong" instead of jaobaan there. It means the occupant. And a fourth option olso, others, not sure for what. So I would definitely try. I would send the tabienbaan and land lord's ID as well if available. Actually the rental contract must include at least the ID to be legally binding. And it must include the tabien baan number and correct address, so yes, better you get the copy of the first page tabien baan and jaobaan data, if it's same with land lord's name in the rental contract and the ID. Can't fail with that. Get the copies signed as well and scan.

i got a user name and temp login without submitting any documents

I always tell people don't bother uploading anything, just apply

It takes a week for approval to get the logins. After that you can do the actual tm30.

you can always report by mail. This can be done from airport, both airports have 24hrs postal service. In this case you technically report on time.

, thanks. I'll get a native Thai speaker to help me with that. I'll give feedback about my success or otherwise when I return to Thailand in about 3 weeks.

Yes, you can do the online TM30 however, the owner has to register the property first:

, thanks. I will attempt to have the elderly Thai lady complete this. She kind and helpful, but challenged with anything computer related. The screen shots will help very much. Cheers.

Sure, if you are the owner. I do TM30 for myself.

, thanks. I rent, not own. I know I can nominate 'guests' at my rental home upon lodging their paper TM30 (advice from CM Immigration).
