Yesterday I get Interbank SMART transfer to Bangkok Bank, instead of FFT (as was 5 months in a row). TW said they aware of Immigration requirements, will do another transfer to check (and they advise to call them so they will route transfer the way to show as International). More headache...
The issue already raised to TransferWise support. If their advice work, I will post an update next week. In general, they tell to contact them after transfer created and they will route it the way it shows international. Will this work or not I can tell next week only.
Be aware to inform the school where she will apply, the documents can be slightly different. I don't know the school name, but when I studied Thai, my school recommended Lao Vientiane as they know the school well.
not in OP case right now. More hassle, more paperwork, must extend at specific time, must wait for consideration. She live just across Mekong and Savannakhet, absolutely easiest way to get multiple non o. Yearly extensions and reentry permit will be reasonable if OP live here all the time
Judith Jaiboon multiple will not mean you must to go in and out every month. But each of your stay after entry must be not more than 90 days. I have multiple reentry permit, this absolutely not mean I must use it every month (but actually I try to do 4 trips per year to compensate the cost he he) 🙂
I absolutely recommend getting a proper visa. You may come on 30 days stamp, then get multiple O in Savannakhet, which will be a breeze because you are woman, and right across the border. Usually, people with family visas get zero question at the border... so get it and not worry about. It multiple, with the right timing for entering before the expiration date, you can get up to 15 months on it. Even if you plan to stay only 3-4 weeks 3 times per year.
Not only wife presence mandatory, but you will need to apply then pick up your extension and be very careful with any leave as you will need to start worry about re entry permits. Maybe get another multiple from Savannakhet is a way better for your situation.
Not, but on rules. You can leave in 24 hrs w/o fine after your admitted to stay expired. But you can get overstay stamp noted fine was waived because of overstay not more than 24 hrs. Valid for international airports only, not land crossings.
