There is no good reason not to do the TM30. It takes only a few minutes and can be done online.

no, they didn't ask me for money but it's possible that they will in the future so it's not a bad idea to have some just in case

Yes. I was stuck with some for months because there was a tiny bit of writing on them until I got lucky and Laos accepted it for a visa

Most of the comments here seem to have digital nomad confused with content creator. Not quite the same thing as many people can be employees or contractors that work remotely and would qualify as a digital nomad technically if they're in a different country than the company they work for. The smart ones just mind their own business, do their jobs and enjoy their lives. The stupid ones are the ones who are constantly getting in the news with bad decision making and the subsequent consequences. You'll probably not be able to tell who is a digital nomad unless they tell you, but you'll definitely be able to tell a content creator because of how they act. Lol

I've made that same flight six times and my luggage has always gone through to Bangkok but it can't hurt to ask

Not for a minimum of 120 days after the king signs it into law, is what Thai legal experts say about how long laws take to come into effect in general, and then there could be additional delays that are not predicted so I wouldn't count on it happening right away.
