TLDR : Answer Summary
When flying from LAX to Bangkok with a layover in Seoul, your luggage will generally go straight through to Bangkok as long as your flights are booked on one ticket. It's advisable to double-check at check-in and verify the baggage tag attached to your luggage to ensure it is tagged for BKK (Bangkok). However, if your travel itinerary involves a stop in Seoul, you may need to collect your luggage and recheck it. Always consult your airline for the most accurate information.

Ask the airline or at check-in, that’s the only way to get a 100% right answer.

I've made that same flight six times and my luggage has always gone through to Bangkok but it can't hurt to ask

You never know until you check in, but in most of my travels from LAX to BKK, I believe my luggage follows me. Most importantly it's at baggage claim when I get there so I have never cared how it got there. Best not to travel with things that may be illegal in any of the countries (weed). Here in Thaiiland we got whatever you need, if we ain't got it, you probably don't need it.

Your ticket supplier will have notified you if through luggage or if needs to be collected, no one can tell you

You would hope so. If not they will deliver it to your hotel when it does

I can vouch for that, especially Thai air, brought luggage to hotel 2 hours away.

that's not correct at all. If you do a "self-transfer" where you purchased multiple tickets you would need to collect your bags in a middle city and check-in again. If you didn't collect your bags and check them in, they most certainly won't be delivered to you. They'll remain in the city you failed to pick them up in.

I meant if they got lost in transfer. Didn't say they will be delivered in ANY case

As long as the travel was purchased on one ticket, it should go through to your final destination. You can always ask at check-in to be sure.
